Description
Cold-climate berries. Deep color. Beautifully balanced flavor.
Our aseptic Blueberry Purée is made from blueberries grown in a northern climate, where cold winters and warm summers help develop the rich color and full flavor we’re looking for. The result is a smooth, deeply colored purée with a balanced sweet-tart profile and clean blueberry character.
With no added sugar, it works across beverages, smoothies, sauces, desserts, confections, and other applications where real fruit flavor and natural color matter.
Balanced Flavor. Plenty of Range.
Blueberry is familiar, versatile, and easy to build around.
Purée Arêté Blueberry Purée brings deep berry color, natural sweetness, and gentle acidity to a wide range of commercial formulations. Its balanced profile makes it useful both as a lead flavor and as a supporting ingredient in more complex fruit combinations.
Use it to develop:
- RTDs and mocktails
- Fruited beers and fermented beverages
- Juices and smoothies
- Sauces and glazes
- Bakery fillings and desserts
- Ice cream, sorbet, and frozen desserts
- Confections and gummies
- Other berry-forward applications
Whether blueberry is taking center stage or helping round out a broader flavor profile, it adds color, balance, and familiar fruit character.

Flavor Pairings
Blueberry works especially well with flavors that brighten, deepen, or soften its natural berry character.
Try it with lemon, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, cherry, peach, apricot, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and lavender.
Use citrus to brighten the profile, other berries for a fuller fruit-forward direction, stone fruit for softness and balance, and vanilla, chocolate, coffee, or cinnamon when you want blueberry to move toward dessert.
Suggested Starting Point
For beer and fermented beverages, start at approximately 0.75–1.25 lb. of blueberry purée per finished gallon and adjust for the desired fruit intensity.
For RTDs, juices, smoothies, sauces, desserts, confections, and other applications, begin with a pilot formulation and adjust based on how prominently blueberry should contribute flavor, color, sweetness, acidity, and body.
Use less when blueberry is supporting other fruits or contributing color and balance. Use more when you want blueberry to lead.
Pilot testing is recommended before scaling to evaluate flavor intensity, Brix, pH, color, haze, filtration, mouthfeel, and finished-product stability.
